61st Baeksang Arts Awards: Top Winners Announced

SEOUL, South Korea — The winners of the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards were revealed on May 5, 2025, during a star-studded ceremony at COEX in Seoul. This prestigious event, honoring the best talent in South Korean film and television, was hosted by popular figures Shin Dong Yup, Suzy, and Park Bo Gum for the fourth consecutive year.

This year, Netflix‘s show “Culinary Class Wars” took home the Grand Prize in the television category, while the film “Harbin” earned the Grand Prize in the film category. The ceremony celebrated outstanding performances and productions, with “When Life Gives You Tangerines” securing multiple awards, including Best Drama, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, and Best Screenplay.

Notable winners include Ju Ji Hoon, who was awarded Best Actor for his role in “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call,” and Kim Tae Ri, who won Best Actress for her performance in “Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born.” The Best Film award was claimed by “Harbin,” with Hong Kyung Pyo recognized as Best Director for his cinematography.

In addition to the main categories, the event also honored achievements in various other fields. The winners included:
