Bain & Company Expands Iberian Presence with New Partner Appointment

MADRID, SpainBain & Company has strengthened its presence in the Iberian Peninsula with the appointment of Francisco Sepúlveda as a partner for Spain and Portugal, the company announced Wednesday. Ignacio Otero, managing partner for Spain and Portugal at Bain & Company, described the appointment as “a significant step forward for the company in its commitment to growth and continuous development.” Sepúlveda joined Bain & Company in 2013 and has since built an international reputation through his work in the firm’s offices in Madrid, Lisbon, Dubai, and Los Angeles.

Sepúlveda brings extensive experience in the industrial and private equity sectors, with a focus on transformation projects, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and strategic development operations across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and the United States. “His expertise will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and deliver strategic advisory services in these key regions,” Otero added.

The announcement comes as Bain & Company reinforces its commitment to excellence and innovation in strategic consulting. The firm has been actively expanding its global footprint, with a particular emphasis on emerging markets and high-growth industries.

In related business news, Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, has been selected by Banco Mercantil to support its cloud adoption journey through Google Cloud.
