Becky G Shines at 2025 American Music Awards with Turizo Performance

Las Vegas, NV — Becky G and Manuel Turizo showcased their dance moves during the 2025 American Music Awards on Monday night. The pair performed their new song for the first time at the star-studded event, opening with a split screen featuring Becky G in a club setting.
As Turizo made his way through the audience, the two artists brought their vibrant energy together on stage, dancing with accompanying performers. In the catchy chorus, Becky sang in Spanish, ‘Tell me what you’re doing this Friday and the rest of your life/Because I don’t have any plans.’ The performance concluded with a playful hug and a cheek kiss from Turizo.
Earlier in the evening, Becky G was honored with the award for Favorite Female Latin Artist, marking her third win in this category after victories in 2020 and 2021. ‘I am so honored to be in this category and be one of your favorite Latina artists,’ she said on stage. ‘I want to dedicate this award to my Chicano community. Honestly, this award wouldn’t be possible for those who came before us, and I know we share in our struggle as well as our wins. Los quiero mucho.’
The collaboration between Becky G and Turizo has been long-awaited, as Becky expressed her excitement in an interview with Rolling Stone prior to the awards. ‘This collab was a long time in the making, and we’ve been having so much fun creating together!’ she stated. ‘We can’t wait to bring that same energy to life on stage in Vegas!’
The event also recognized other artists, including Janet Jackson, who received the Icon Award, and Rod Stewart, who earned a Lifetime Achievement Award. The 2025 American Music Awards marked the return of the fan-voted ceremony after a two-year hiatus, hosted by Jennifer Lopez at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas.
