The late social media star, best known for her quirky and fun cooking tutorials, passed away from esophageal cancer on New Year's Day at Riverview Medical Center in New Jersey, as reported by the New York Times. Her daughter, Hannah Shofet, confirmed the news. Lynn Davis had built a massive online following with her YouTube channel, TikTok account, and Instagram. ‘Cooking With Lynja‘ was a beloved addition to the world of online content.

In a heartfelt tribute video shared by her son Tim Davis on her social media channels, he confirmed the news of her passing and shared memorable family photos that highlighted his mother’s wonderful personality. The video garnered millions of views and comments within a short period of time. Davis’ impact and influence on the culinary community were undeniable, and her fellow creators expressed their love and admiration through social media tributes.

Notable figures in the industry, such as record producer and actor Benny Blanco, and renowned chef and food personality Nick DiGiovanni, shared their condolences and memories of Davis.
