Ben Ganger Wins Fifth Consecutive Game on Jeopardy!

INDIANAPOLIS — Ben Ganger, a data analyst from Goshen, strengthened his position as a rising star on “Jeopardy!” after winning his fifth consecutive game on Monday, May 5.
Ganger’s winning streak began with an impressive debut, where he secured $24,999, making a strong statement with 34 correct responses, noted as the second-most in a single game this season.
During Monday’s episode, Ganger maintained a commanding lead, finishing with $20,000 and bringing his total winnings to $105,915. He is now set to compete in the Tournament of Champions at the end of the season.
In his recent performances, Ganger has demonstrated great skill and knowledge, including a memorable answer to a Final Jeopardy clue in the category “The Stage,” which asked, “Their show ended its off-Broadway run in 2025, after 34 years, 17,800 shows and 82,150 gallons of paint.” He answered correctly, identifying the Blue Man Group.
Ganger’s streak took off on May 1, where he finished his game with a total of $24,600. He also answered 79% of his questions correctly throughout the competition, showcasing his impressive trivia prowess.
Ganger co-founded “Opera on Tap” in South Bend, a group that performs opera in unconventional venues, adding to his creative background. He will aim to extend his winning streak to six games on Tuesday.
“Jeopardy!” airs weeknights at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 13.
