Benny Blanco Recreates Prom for Fiancée Selena Gomez

Beverly Hills, CA — Benny Blanco is creating special memories for his fiancée, Selena Gomez, by recreating the high school prom experience she never had. On Thursday, Blanco shared a heartfelt video on his Instagram, revealing, “My fiancé has never been to prom before.”

In the video, fans see Gomez being pampered by her hair and makeup team while Blanco looks sharp in a tuxedo. Later, Gomez makes a grand entrance in a fuchsia high-low gown, black tights, and chunky black heels as she walks down the steps.

Blanco arranged for a stretch limo to take the couple to a mall, where they posed for a fun photoshoot in front of a blue step and repeat backdrop. According to Blanco, they captured classic prom poses, with Blanco holding Gomez’s waist and using playful props, reminiscent of traditional prom and family portraits.

Blanco previously discussed his plans during an appearance on the “Jennifer Hudson Show,” explaining that he wanted to make his fiancée’s prom dreams come true as a birthday surprise. “She didn’t even know, she was like, ‘What am I supposed to wear? What am I supposed to do?’” Blanco said. “It was like she was really going to prom.”

The couple first met in 2015 when Blanco co-produced Gomez’s hit single “Same Old Love.” While they didn’t start dating until 2023, they went public with their relationship in 2024.
