Bestselling author Sophie Kinsella, also known as Madeleine Sophie Wickham, has made a heartfelt announcement regarding her health, revealing a challenging diagnosis.
After being diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, in late 2022, Sophie Kinsella decided to share the news with her followers. She explained that she kept the diagnosis private initially to ensure her children could process the information and adjust to the ‘new normal’.
Under the care of a dedicated team at University College Hospital in London, Kinsella has undergone successful surgery, followed by ongoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy to combat the disease.
Despite the tough battle, Kinsella shared that she remains stable and generally well, although she often experiences fatigue and humorously noted that her memory has taken a hit.
