NANTUCKET, Mass. — Bill Belichick, the legendary coach of the North Carolina football team, is reportedly trying to break into Nantucket’s exclusive social and charity scenes with his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. However, sources tell Page Six that he is facing significant pushback from those loyal to his ex, Linda Holliday.

“His ex, Linda, is working the philanthropic and social circles, and she wants to get more involved,” a source involved with the Nantucket social scene stated. “She’s trying to claim her stake in the social circle. That is Linda’s thing,” the insider added.

Locals seem to be siding with Holliday, as a second source remarked that islanders are “not rolling out the welcome mat” for Hudson, who previously finished third in a beauty pageant. “People on Nantucket are pretty sophisticated. If Hudson walked into Galley Beach, 90% of the place would roll their eyes,” the source said. “It’s cliquey here. They’re focused on their charities and aren’t inviting people they don’t think are a good fit.”

Hudson, who is 49 years younger than Belichick, met him on a flight in 2021. Belichick was reportedly infatuated with her deductive logic project during their first encounter. They began dating while he was still with Holliday, who is 61 and split from Belichick in September 2023 after 16 years.

While acknowledging Hudson’s role in his life, Belichick remains tight-lipped about their relationship. During a recent CBS interview, he was interrupted by Hudson when asked about their initial meeting. Belichick later stated, “Well, we have a good personal relationship.
