LOS ANGELES, California — On February 21, 2025, HBO‘s ‘Real Time with Bill Maher‘ marks 22 years since its inaugural episode aired. With over 680 episodes to date, the series continues to address pressing social and political issues through the lens of its diverse panel of guests, including journalists, politicians, and entertainers.
First aired in 2003, ‘Real Time’ has established itself as HBO’s longest-running series still in production, surpassing its iconic predecessors ‘Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel’ and ‘Inside the NFL.’ The show has garnered critical acclaim, receiving twelve Emmy nominations between 2005 and 2017.
