Billy Strings, the acclaimed bluegrass and country musician, is gearing up for his Fall Tour 2024, with a highly anticipated stop at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, on December 12th. Tickets for the event are currently available via Ticketmaster.com.
Raised in Michigan and now based in Nashville, Billy Strings is renowned for his electrifying performances and his commitment to keeping the improvisational tradition of bluegrass alive. His music often incorporates elements from various genres, making him one of the most compelling artists in the music scene today.
Recently, Strings released a 38-minute live performance titled “Meet Me At The Creek > Pyramid Country > Must Be Seven > Meet Me At The Creek (Live at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Winston-Salem, NC 3/4/23),” which highlights the energetic and dynamic nature of his concerts. This release follows his GRAMMY-nominated collaboration with Willie Nelson, “California Sober,” and his latest full-length album, *Me/And/Dad*, which features Strings performing alongside his father, Terry Barber. *Me/And/Dad* was nominated for Best Bluegrass Album at this year’s GRAMMY Awards.
Billy Strings has garnered numerous accolades since his debut in 2017, including Best Bluegrass Album at the 63rd GRAMMY Awards, Artist of the Year at the 2023 and 2022 Americana Music Awards, and Entertainer of the Year at the 2023, 2022, and 2021 International Bluegrass Music Awards. He has also performed on prominent shows such as “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and PBS’ “Austin City Limits” and “Bluegrass Underground”.
