SEOUL, South Korea — K-pop sensation Blackpink is reuniting for a limited run of stadium shows this summer, launching their much-anticipated tour on July 5-6 in their home city. The quartet will perform in ten cities worldwide, with major stops including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Toronto, as announced on Wednesday.

The tour kicks off with two concerts at Goyang Stadium in Seoul, South Korea, before heading to the U.S. for shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on July 12, Soldier Field in Chicago on July 18, Rogers Stadium in Toronto on July 22, and Citi Field in New York on July 26. Following the North American leg, Blackpink will travel to Europe, with performances planned in Paris, Milan, Barcelona, and concluding at Wembley Stadium in London on August 15.

A graphic released alongside the tour announcement also indicated that Blackpink will return to Tokyo’s iconic Tokyo Dome for three nights in January 2026.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on February 27 at LiveNation.com, with specific on-sale times varying by market. This tour features an unusually low number of dates for such a major act, which could suggest that group members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are still primarily concentrating on their successful solo careers.

Despite the limited engagement, the potential for additional dates remains high, as evidenced by their previous tour in 2023, which included extensive concert stops across the U.S. and a headline performance at Coachella.

The last time Blackpink performed together was September 17, 2023, wrapping up their tour in Seoul. While there were no new music releases announced with the tour, members have hinted at upcoming studio work. ‘We knew there was no reason for us to stop it,’ Rosé stated in a recent interview with The Cut magazine. ‘As much as we all needed some time to go out and explore … we still have business left to do. We’ve got to do some more damage. We will be coming out with new music soon.’

Recently, the group members have been busy with individual projects. Jisoo debuted her first solo EP, “Amortage,” last week. Lisa’s single “Born Again,” which features Doja Cat and Raye, was released on February 6 as a prelude to her debut solo album, “Alter Ego,” scheduled for release on February 28. Jennie’s recent single, ‘Love Hangover,’ featuring Dominic Fife, debuted in January, with another release, ‘Extra L,’ featuring Doechii, set for this Friday. Rosé has also been active, releasing singles ‘APT,’ featuring Bruno Mars, and ‘Number One Girl’ last fall, ahead of her first full-length album, ‘Rosie,’ which is set to drop in December.

With their fans eagerly awaiting the tour, Blackpink continues to solidify their status as global pop icons, balancing group commitments with individual artistic exploration.
