Bloom Energy Stocks Soar After $5 Billion Deal with Brookfield

New York, NY – October 13, 2025 – Bloom Energy’s stock surged dramatically today, jumping by up to 35% following the announcement of a substantial partnership with Brookfield Asset Management. The deal involves an investment of up to $5 billion to provide fuel cells for new AI data centers, marking a significant shift in how artificial intelligence infrastructure is powered.
This partnership represents the initial phase of a strategic alliance aimed at creating advanced AI data centers, also referred to as ‘AI factories,’ around the world. Among the planned sites is one in Europe, expected to be announced before the year ends. This collaboration highlights the growing demand for reliable energy solutions as AI-driven data center requirements increase.
“Behind-the-meter power solutions are essential to closing the grid gap for AI factories,” said Sikander Rashid, Global Head of AI Infrastructure at Brookfield, during the announcement. “Bloom’s advanced fuel cell technology uniquely positions us to design and construct modern AI factories to meet these power needs,” he added.
Bloom Energy’s CEO, K.R. Sridhar, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating that it provides a critical avenue for addressing the energy demands of the AI sector. “AI factories demand massive power, rapid deployment, and real-time load responsiveness that legacy grids cannot support,” he noted.
The stock’s impressive rise comes on the heels of increasing investor interest, which has seen Bloom Energy’s stock price soar more than 700% over the past year. As of the latest trading session, Bloom Energy shares were up approximately 26.6% to reach $109.93, marking a significant rebound from last week’s close of $86.87.
Further validating this bullish trend, financial analysts have praised the recent deal and raised their price targets for Bloom Energy. For instance, Susquehanna lifted its price target for Bloom from $43 to $105, citing the positive implications of the increased AI demand and power needs.
As Bloom Energy continues to expand its presence in the energy market, the involvement of Brookfield signifies a pivotal moment for the company, positioning it to capitalize on the rapidly evolving AI landscape. If successful, this partnership could set new standards for energy infrastructure, making it a crucial development to monitor in the coming months.
