Bobby Flay and Brooke Williamson Confirm Romance Amid BBQ Brawl Season

NEW YORK, NY — Celebrity chefs Bobby Flay and Brooke Williamson recently confirmed their romantic relationship after years of friendship. The news comes as they co-star in the new season of ‘BBQ Brawl,’ which premiered on June 1, 2025.
Flay, known for his role as a team captain on the culinary competition, has a long-standing friendship with Williamson, a judge on the show since its inception in 2019. In an interview, he shared details about their evolving relationship. “Well, first of all, I’ve been friends with Brooke forever,” Flay said. “We shot this show before we started officially dating. So it has always kind of been the same for me.”
Williamson and Flay have collaborated on several Food Network projects, including ‘Bobby’s Triple Threat.’ Their bonding over cooking and parenting has made their connection stronger. Both chefs are parents, with Williamson having a son, Hudson, and Flay’s daughter Sophie from a previous marriage.
“I love working with Brooke,” Flay expressed. “We have a lot in common. We’re both chefs. We both have kids. We’re both parents.” He added that their relationship adds a new dimension to their professional bond. “It’s nice to have a best friend that you’re dating who can also help answer questions about our work.”
Flay praised Williamson and their fellow judges, noting the qualities they bring to the show. “Rodney brings those barbecue chops to the table,” he mentioned regarding judge Rodney Scott. He also highlighted Carson Kressley’s humor and taste in food as enriching to the show’s dynamic.
This season features new captains Maneet Chauhan and Antonia Lofaso, who have brought renewed energy to the competition. Flay remarked on their preparation for the show. “They did tons of research. They were practicing cooking and really brought their own sort of energy and attitude to it,” he said.
As the season unfolds, fans can witness the evolving dynamics between Flay and Williamson both on and off camera. They are set to appear in new episodes of ‘BBQ Brawl’ every Sunday on Food Network, offering audiences a glimpse into their personal and professional journey together.
