Sarah Cunningham Artist London Missing

A body has been found in the search for Sarah Cunningham, a 31-year-old internationally recognized British artist who went missing in London over the weekend. Cunningham was last seen around 3am on Saturday, November 2, in Jamestown Road, Camden, and was reported missing by her family later that day.

The Metropolitan Police informed Cunningham’s relatives of a casualty on the tracks at Chalk Farm Underground Station shortly after 1am on Monday. While the body has not yet been formally identified, the police have notified Cunningham’s family of this development. The family has requested that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police are working with colleagues in the British Transport Police to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death. At this stage, the death is being treated as unexpected but is not currently thought to be suspicious.

Sarah Cunningham was a rising star in the art world, having received the Royal College of Art’s Ali H Alkazzi Scholarship Award and completed a Master’s degree in painting from the Royal College of Art in 2022. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in New York, Los Angeles, and Seoul. She was represented by Lisson Gallery, which had issued appeals for information on her whereabouts along with her family and friends.

Cunningham’s recent exhibition, *Flight Paths*, had concluded a run at the Lisson Gallery in Los Angeles, and she had recently returned from South Korea where her work was showcased by Burberry in Seoul.
