Bollywood Stars Celebrate Durga Puja with Grandeur and Devotion
Bollywood icons Rani Mukerji and Kajol recently participated in the Durga Puja celebrations held at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja in Juhu, Mumbai. The “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” co-stars were seen enjoying the festive spirit, greeting family and friends, and posing for photographs at the grand pandal on Wednesday evening.
A video shared on social media platforms captured a moment where Rani and Kajol stood before the idol of Goddess Durga. During the “aarti,” the two actors clapped along to the traditional “dhak” drum beats, joining in the devotional practices. Rani appeared elegant in a blue, printed silk saree, while Kajol radiated charm in a yellow saree with minimal makeup.
Another video showed Kajol arriving with her sister Tanishaa Mukerji, warmly greeting Rani and pausing for more photographs. Kajol was also spotted seeking blessings, with Rani standing respectfully beside her with folded hands in front of the priests. Rani Mukerji, who recently attended an award ceremony in Abu Dhabi, where she won the Best Actress award for “Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway,” was also present at the event. She dedicated her award to mothers worldwide. Meanwhile, fans eagerly anticipate Kajol’s upcoming film, “Do Patti,” directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, which also stars Kriti Sanon and will be released on Netflix on October 25.
