Bonus Episode of ‘Mirzapur’ Season 3 Released on Prime Video
Prime Video has announced the release of a bonus episode for ‘Mirzapur‘ Season 3, available for streaming from August 30. This episode marks the return of the character Munna Tripathi, portrayed by Divyenndu, who has captured the audience’s attention with his distinctive style.
The unexpected comeback follows a dramatic cliffhanger at the end of Season 2, where Munna Bhaiyya, also known as Phool Chand Tripathi, was shot and presumed dead by Guddu, played by Ali Fazal. The absence of Munna Bhaiyya in Season 3 sparked a significant response on social media, with fans expressing their desire for his return to the popular series.
Earlier this month, Fazal had hinted at the bonus episode’s release, which will provide additional content for the show’s devoted fanbase. ‘Mirzapur’ has achieved resounding success across its first two seasons, propelling its fandom to greater heights. This raw and intense crime drama has experienced a surge in viewership, particularly with Season 3 concluding on a suspenseful note as Guddu escapes from jail and reunites with Golu, portrayed by Shweta Tripathi Sharma.
The newly released bonus episode features deleted scenes, accompanied by narration from Divyenndu. This episode represents an exclusive addition to Prime memberships, which provide a variety of savings, convenience, and entertainment for a yearly fee of ₹1499.
In the bonus episode, Divyenndu greets fans in his iconic style, acknowledging their loyalty and expressing how much he missed them as well. He reassures fans that the content they longed for is now available, courtesy of Munna Tripathi.
‘Mirzapur’ Season 3 rapidly gained traction, being viewed by Prime Video users across 98% of India’s pin codes during its launch weekend. The show notably appeared in Prime Video’s ‘top 10’ titles list in over 85 countries during the same period.
