Borussia Dortmund (BVB), the renowned Bundesliga football club, has entered into a strategic partnership with Pluto TV, a leading free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service. This collaboration promises to deliver exclusive content for football enthusiasts around the world through a dedicated 24-hour channel.

As part of this agreement, the Pluto TV logo will feature prominently on the sleeves of BVB’s men’s team players during all cup competitions of the 2024/25 season, including the prestigious UEFA Champions League. Pluto TV also becomes a Premium Partner, supporting BVB’s women’s team with similar sleeve branding across all competitions. This partnership further extends to include branding at all BVB Bundesliga home matches, as well as visibility for the eFootball team.

The newly launched FAST channel by Pluto TV will be offered free of charge across its global markets, featuring a mix of entertaining and historical content dedicated to Borussia Dortmund. This includes replays of both current and classic matches, available in markets like the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and many more.

Olivier Jollet, Executive Vice President and International General Manager for Pluto TV, remarked on the partnership by highlighting the mutual dedication of both parties to the “black & yellow” colors. He expressed enthusiasm about how this venture will enhance Pluto TV’s visibility worldwide and bring a new level of curated sports content to fans. Jollet emphasized the aim to celebrate the rich history of Borussia Dortmund beyond the 90-minute game through this collaboration.

Carsten Cramer, Managing Director of Borussia Dortmund, noted that collaborating with Pluto TV, which is part of the Paramount Global family, will extend BVB’s reach to international markets, broadening its connection with fans globally. He pointed out that Pluto TV’s inclusive commitment aligns perfectly with Borussia Dortmund’s holistic approach encompassing the women’s and eFootball teams.
