Brad Pitt to Reunite with Quentin Tarantino for Final Film
Brad Pitt is set to join the cast of Quentin Tarantino‘s upcoming film, The Movie Critic. This collaboration marks their third project together following the success of Inglourious Basterds and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
The Movie Critic is believed to be Tarantino’s final film and is currently eyeing a 2025 release. Sony Pictures is expected to distribute it, with acclaimed producer Stacey Sher on board.
Tarantino shared with Deadline that the film is set in California during the 1970s and centers around a relatively unknown individual who wrote movie reviews for an adult magazine. The character is based on a real person who remained obscure despite his contribution to the industry.
Variety has confirmed Pitt’s involvement in the project, and their sources suggest that The Movie Critic may draw inspiration from the life of Armond White, a late New York writer.
Quentin Tarantino has publicly stated his intention to retire after directing his tenth film. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood served as his ninth feature, released to critical acclaim in 2019.
This upcoming reunion between Brad Pitt and Quentin Tarantino is highly anticipated by fans and marks a significant collaboration between the two acclaimed artists in the film industry.
