Bradley Cooper As Jor El Superman Movie

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — A new report from insider ViewerAnon has revealed that Bradley Cooper will portray Jor-El in the upcoming Superman film directed by James Gunn. The character is expected to make his appearance in the film’s opening minutes, described as more of a cameo than a significant role.

ViewerAnon, known for leaking entertainment industry information, assured fans that the revelation does not contain major spoilers. “He appears in the first couple minutes of the movie so I promise this is not a big spoiler,” they posted on Twitter. Cooper has previously collaborated with Gunn as the voice of Rocket Raccoon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The official synopsis of Superman indicates a focus on the character’s journey of reconciling his Kryptonian lineage with his human upbringing in Smallville, Kansas. The film promises to embody themes of truth, justice, and kindness in a world that often overlooks those ideals.

Alongside Cooper, the star-studded cast features David Corenswet as Superman, Rachel Brosnahan, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. Additional cast members include Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, and Wendell Pierce as Perry White, among others.

The Superman film marks the beginning of a new era in the DC Universe, specifically Chapter One: Gods and Monsters, which began rolling out in late 2024. This project is set to launch a series of interconnected films and television shows, including a Batman and Robin feature titled The Brave and the Bold, and a Supergirl movie titled Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

No further details about Cooper’s role in this new cinematic universe have been disclosed. Fans eagerly await the official release, which promises a fresh take on the beloved superhero.
