Breeze Airways Flights At Rochester Airport

Rochester, N.Y. — Breeze Airways is set to launch two new nonstop destinations from the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport. Starting May 9, the airline will begin weekly service to Orlando, Florida, and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.

The announcement follows Breeze’s plans to add additional routes, with nonstop flights to Tampa, Florida, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, beginning in October. Breeze president and CEO David Neeleman expressed excitement about the new services. “We are grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received from travelers in the Rochester area so far,” he said in a news release.

The initial flights to Raleigh-Durham will operate on Fridays and Mondays. Orlando service will feature one-stop flights on Mondays and Fridays, with one-way fares starting as low as $39. Nonstop flights to Charleston, South Carolina, and New Orleans, Louisiana, were added earlier this year, expanding the airline’s footprint in the region.

Breeze Airways also announced its inclusion as one of the top five best domestic carriers, as ranked by Travel + Leisure. The airline operates with a fleet of Airbus A220-300 jets, known for comfort and Wi-Fi availability.

As Breeze Airways continues to grow, it aims to connect travelers to destinations that lack direct air service. October will mark a significant expansion with new routes to Florida and South Carolina, highlighting its commitment to the Rochester travel market.
