Brie Bella Hints at Final Wrestling Comeback Alongside Nikki
LOS ANGELES, CA — Brie Garcia, known publicly as Brie Bella from WWE, has opened up about a potential return to the wrestling ring. In a recent interview, she expressed her belief that she has a final run left in her career as a wrestler. “I think there is definitely a last run in me and I’m at the age and I’m strong,” Brie shared. “I’m working out so hard and feeling good, but there’s for sure a last run in me.”
Brie, a WWE Hall of Famer and former Divas Champion, last held a full-time position in wrestling in 2016. Since then, she has made periodic appearances, the latest being at the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble. During her time away from the ring, she welcomed two sons, Buddy and Matteo, with her husband, Bryan Danielson.
Brie hopes to make her comeback alongside her twin sister, Nikki Bella, who re-signed with WWE this year. Nikki’s return, which took place during the Royal Rumble, has seen her involved in major storylines, including a title match against Stephanie Vaquer at the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames.
Nikki, reflecting on her career, stated in an interview that this current run will be her last, emphasizing the desire to end it with Brie by her side. “I started with her, and I want to end with her,” Nikki remarked. “It would be really cool for the fans as well as for this new era.”
The prospect of the Bella Twins reuniting in the ring excites wrestling fans, especially with the possibility of holding Tag Team gold. Both sisters have indicated they are interested in collaborating for one last significant run. While no current plans have been confirmed, the idea remains a focal point for fans and WWE officials alike.
As of now, Brie and Nikki are navigating their paths back into wrestling amidst the ever-evolving business landscape of the WWE. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for updates, particularly through news sources like VICE, as developments unfold.
