Los Angeles, CA — Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson is set to launch her first-ever cookbook, titled “Party People,” co-written with former Milk Bar culinary director Courtney McBroom. The announcement came earlier this month, as Larson teased fans with news of her next project.

The cookbook features 100 creative recipes and ideas aimed at enhancing social gatherings, inspired by Larson’s recent role as Elizabeth Zott in the Apple TV+ series “Lessons in Chemistry.” According to a press release from publisher Penguin Random House, the book includes “weird and wacky party ideas” that reflect the authors’ passion for food and entertaining.

Larson and McBroom have been friends for years, united by their mutual love for cooking and hosting parties. The press release stated that they decided to team up to write a cookbook that helps readers create meaningful connections with loved ones. The recipes include unique items such as Old Pal cocktails, Cheesy Jenga Bread, and Dueling Roast Chickens.

In a joint social media post celebrating the book announcement, Larson shared a humorous video where she and McBroom pretend to wake up after a wild party. The clip concludes with Larson revealing the cookbook cover while they toast their wine glasses at a table laden with appetizers.

“We wrote a cookbook! PARTY PEOPLE is for anyone who loves to host, eat, gather, and maybe forget to film it all,” Larson declared in the caption, encouraging fans to preorder the book. “It’s full of recipes we actually make, stories from our kitchen, and tips to make hosting feel less overwhelming (and more delicious).”

Scheduled for release in Fall 2025, “Party People” promises to deliver recipes and advice that make entertaining a delight rather than a chore.
