Brit Eady Lawsuit Bravo Kenya Moore

NEW YORK – Brit Eady has filed a $20 million lawsuit against Bravo, NBCUniversal, and production companies True Original and Endemol Shine North America, claiming defamation and emotional harm due to a sexually explicit image shown during a salon opening event. Eady, 37, filed the suit on Thursday in New York State Supreme Court, alleging several serious charges including defamation, sexual harassment, and the creation of a hostile work environment.

The lawsuit centers on an incident from June 2024 when reality TV star Kenya Moore displayed a graphic photo during the grand opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa. According to court documents, Moore falsely claimed that the explicit image depicted Eady, which led to significant distress and damage to Eady’s reputation.

In the filing, Eady’s attorneys noted, “Moore displayed posters containing written false and defamatory statements regarding Plaintiff and her occupation, as well as an explicit photograph depicting a woman engaged in graphic sexual conduct.” Eady claims she was never shown the photo before the episode aired in April 2025 during an episode titled “About Last Night.”

Eady maintained that despite her repeated requests to see the photograph prior to the episode’s airing, the defendants refused to comply. “On information and belief, Defendants knew that the photograph did not depict Plaintiff or, at the least, were reckless or grossly negligent in failing to learn that the photograph did not depict Plaintiff,” the lawsuit states.

On her social media, Eady expressed her devastation over the events of the season, emphasizing her absence from the reunion as a personal choice. “The events of this season have devastated me, and while I cannot say much right now, I do want to set the record straight about one thing: the graphic sexual photo surrounding the events in Episode 5. That photo was not me,” she posted.

The controversy escalated tensions among the cast, leading to Moore’s absence from the reunion as well. Following the revelation, fans speculated about Eady’s future with the show as she removed “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” from her Instagram bio.

Amid this ongoing drama, Eady is not only seeking financial damages but also the removal of the episode featuring the disputed image from Bravo’s library. As of now, the episode remains available for streaming.

This story continues to develop as both sides prepare for the next steps in this legal battle.
