British Airways Cabin Crew Members Fired Over Racist Video Mocking Passengers

Two British Airways cabin crew members, Holly Walton and Lauren Bray, have been terminated from their positions after a video surfaced showing them engaging in racist behavior towards Chinese passengers. The video, which was shared on social media platform TikTok, depicted Walton making racist gestures and using a stereotypical Chinese accent to demand wine.

The incident took place at the Trade Winds hotel in Antigua, where the two crew members were in between flights. Colleagues reported that the video was filmed after serving passengers on flight BA2157 from London Gatwick, where a Chinese family who spoke limited English was onboard.

Walton and Bray were said to have posted the video with the caption ‘2 weeks in a row with this d***head,’ indicating a pattern of inappropriate behavior. The pair’s actions received significant backlash, with fellow BA employees expressing shock and disappointment over the racist nature of the video.

Following the circulation of the video, both Walton and Bray were summoned to a meeting at British Airways’ headquarters in London to address the issue. During the meeting, they were informed of their termination, with Bray reportedly leaving in tears.

A BA spokesperson reiterated the company’s stance, stating, ‘All forms of racism are completely unacceptable, and we take allegations of this nature very seriously. These two individuals are no longer employed by us.’
