Brittany Snow Reacts to ‘SNL’ Parody of ‘The Hunting Wives’
Hollywood, CA — Brittany Snow shared her excitement about a recent sketch parodying her Netflix series, ‘The Hunting Wives,’ during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. The sketch aired last weekend on ‘Saturday Night Live‘ and featured a humorous take on the show’s themes.
Snow expressed her gratitude to Chloe Fineman, who performed an impression of her character, Sophie, in the skit. ‘I was just in shock. I mean, I’m just so grateful and just overwhelmed,’ Snow said. ‘Chloe Fineman did an amazing job encapsulating me and getting my voice right. I was like, ‘Shit, I do sound like that.’
Snow also revealed that she always dreamed of having Aubrey Plaza involved in the series. After seeing Plaza participate in the sketch, she remarked, ‘We always had a pie-in-the-sky idea that maybe Aubrey Plaza would be a part of the show, so seeing her in the skit was very strange. So, we’re hoping one day.’
The ‘SNL’ skit featured a comedic twist on the murder mystery and romantic drama of ‘The Hunting Wives.’ It included other performers like Amy Poehler, who hosted the episode, and highlighted the unique blend of humor and tension within the series. The show’s first season made a notable impression on audiences, combining elements of suspense and intrigue.
‘We go back in a few weeks, actually, so we’re right around the corner,’ Snow said, discussing the upcoming filming for season two. ‘And I just hope that Sophie makes any good decision. Just one, just one good decision. I’m hoping the best for her, but we’ll see. I doubt it, to be honest. I read [the script] and I’m like, ‘Why?’
The buzz surrounding ‘The Hunting Wives’ continues to grow as fans await the next chapter of the series, which is set to begin filming in November. With the anticipation building, Snow’s lighthearted remarks reflect both her connection to the character and her enthusiasm for the show’s upcoming developments.
