LOS ANGELES, Calif. — A24‘s historical epic *The Brutalist*, starring Adrien Brody and Felicity Jones, is poised for its premium video-on-demand (PVOD) release following its successful theatrical run and awards season acclaim. The film, directed by Brady Corbet, opened in theaters on Dec. 20, 2024, and has since expanded to nationwide screenings.

The 3-hour, 34-minute drama, which includes an intermission, tells the story of László Toth, a Hungarian Jewish architect who survives the Holocaust and emigrates to the U.S. in 1947. Alongside Brody, the film features Felicity Jones as Toth’s wife, Erzsébet, and Guy Pearce as a wealthy industrialist who becomes a pivotal figure in their lives.

According to industry patterns, A24 typically releases films on PVOD about a month after their wide theatrical debut. Based on this timeline, *The Brutalist* is expected to become available for digital purchase or rental on platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home by late February 2025. Purchase prices are projected to range from $19.99 to $29.99, with rentals costing between $14.99 and $24.99 for a 48-hour period.

Following its PVOD release, the film will stream exclusively on Max, thanks to a deal between A24 and the platform. Historically, A24 films arrive on Max three to four months after their theatrical release. If *The Brutalist* follows this pattern, it could debut on the streaming service between late April and late May 2025.

The film has already made waves during awards season, winning Golden Globes for Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Actor for Brody, and Best Director for Corbet. It has also earned nominations for nine Critics Choice Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actor for Pearce.

As audiences await its digital release, *The Brutalist* continues to screen in theaters nationwide, offering viewers a chance to experience its sweeping narrative on the big screen.
