Calgary Flames Prepare for Game Against Vancouver Canucks

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — The Calgary Flames are set to wrap up a two-game road trip against the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena tonight at 10 p.m. ET. The game comes after the Flames’ 4-3 shootout victory against the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday.
According to the latest reports, the Flames will take the ice with the following lines: Matvei Gridin, Nazem Kadri, and Matt Coronato on the first line; Joel Farabee, Morgan Frost, and Yegor Sharangovich on the second line; Connor Zary, Mikael Backlund, and Blake Coleman on the third line; and Ryan Lomberg, Justin Kirkland, and Adam Klapka on the fourth.
Defensively, the Flames will feature Joel Hanley and MacKenzie Weegar, Kevin Bahl and Rasmus Andersson, and Jake Bean with Brayden Pachal. In net, rookie Dustin Wolf and Devin Cooley will share goaltending duties.
Head Coach Ryan Huska mentioned, “We shall see” regarding lineup alterations, hinting that Cooley could make his Flames debut should any changes occur.
The Canucks, who are seeking a fresh start after a challenging previous season, are also preparing for tonight’s matchup. Their lines include notable players like Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser, and Evander Kane. Pettersson, who struggled last season, is aiming to recapture his former scoring prowess.
