California Strawberry Festival Returns to Ventura This Weekend

VENTURA, California – The California Strawberry Festival will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 17-18, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. The festival promises a celebration of all things strawberry, providing attendees with a taste of delicious strawberry treats and entertainment.
Festival organizers have announced that they will go through an impressive 1.5 million strawberries during the two-day event. Featured food options include strawberry pie, kabobs, jam, cakes, nachos, and even strawberry beer.
The festival will also offer family-friendly activities, including puppet shows, magic acts, and a crowd-favorite Berry Baby Fashion Show. Live music will be performed across multiple stages, with tribute bands like Bruno & The Hooligans and Kings of Queen expected to draw in fans. Guests can also enjoy rides, face painting, and carnival games in the dedicated Strawberry Land area for children.
In addition to the extensive food and entertainment options, attendees can support local charities as all food sales at the festival benefit nonprofit organizations in Southern California. Since its inception, the California Strawberry Festival has raised more than $4.5 million for community programs.
Parking is available nearby with free shuttle service from designated locations, and accessible via Amtrak, making it easy for families and attendees from surrounding areas to join the fun. Tickets are available for $8 to $15, and children under four enter free.
This annual event is a fantastic way for families in Santa Clarita and beyond to mark the start of summer while indulging in everything strawberry. For festival updates and ticket purchases, attendees are encouraged to visit the KHTS Radio website or the festival’s official page.
