Call of Duty Season 4 Launches May 29 with Major Updates

LOS ANGELES, CA — The highly anticipated Season 4 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone is set to launch on May 29 at 9 AM PT, bringing with it a host of new updates and features. Players can expect a collaborative narrative where Adler and Stitch join forces to uncover moles within the game.
One of the major changes includes the introduction of a new Battle Pass that features over 100 rewards, including operator skins and base weapons like the LC10 SMG and FFAR 1 assault rifle. Activision aims to enhance player engagement with revamped gameplay, balancing updates, and new game modes.
Among the updates, the traditional Battle Royale Solos mode will be replaced by a new Battle Royale Casual mode, which combines human players with identifiable bots. The decision comes after the Casual mode proved to be a popular option with players since its launch.
Ranked Play will also see fresh rewards and restrictions. The introduction of new modes—Ranked Play: Battle Royale and later, Ranked Play: Resurgence—adds competitive depth for players. However, certain elements such as Launchers and the Tracker perk will be banned from Ranked Play as part of an effort to ensure balance.
Additionally, both the Zombies and multiplayer experiences will see notable adjustments, including balancing changes to weapons for improved gameplay. For example, several assault rifles will have increased bullet velocity, and key tactical pieces of equipment will receive effectiveness adjustments.
As players gear up for the new season, they will also benefit from a preorder option that allows immediate access to the Season 4 content:
“With Stitch out of prison, it’s time to crack the Pantheon codenames and make the traitors pay,” a release said, signaling a thrilling story arc intertwined with the launch.
For those seeking gameplay improvements, accessibility updates, and content frameworks, Season 4 promises to deliver a robust experience across all platforms.
