Canadian Music Festival Gets A Rockin' Lineup For 30th Anniversary Celebration

The Ottawa Bluesfest, Canada’s premier music festival, is gearing up for an epic 30th-anniversary celebration with an enthralling lineup set to grace the stages. The festival, hosted on the grounds of the prestigious Canadian War Museum at LeBreton Flats Park, will feature music icons like Neil Young, 50 Cent, and Maroon 5.

One of the most anticipated appearances is by the legendary Neil Young, who along with his band, Crazy Horse, is embarking on a North American tour after a decade. Their last visit to Ottawa was in 2012 for an electrifying arena performance. The festival was able to lock in Young thanks to the efforts of his long-time booking agent, Marsha Vlasic, who represents notable artists like Iggy Pop.

Maroon 5, the pop-rock ensemble fronted by the charismatic Adam Levine, will also take center stage at Bluesfest for the first time. Alongside them, hip hop luminary Nas and Canadian rockers Nickelback will be making their debut performances at the festival, adding to the excitement.

Other returning acts include fan-favorites such as Mötley Crüe, who last rocked the main stage in 2012, the Zac Brown Band, and 50 Cent, impressing the crowds in 2017 with their unforgettable performances.

The festival will kick off with Mother Mother headlining on July 4, sharing the stage with a mix of talented artists like Orville Peck and Tokyo Police Club. Each day of the festival will bring a diverse range of acts, showcasing Ottawa’s local talent alongside international stars.
