Pendrith, hailing from Richmond Hill, entered the final day leading the tournament by a narrow margin, setting the stage for an intense showdown at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas.

The competition narrowed down to a thrilling duel between Pendrith and American golfer Ben Kohles, with both players vying for their inaugural PGA Tour title.

In a tense finish, Kohles briefly took the lead in the closing holes, only to falter with a bogey on the par-5 18th, opening the door for Pendrith to seize the opportunity.

Displaying nerves of steel, Pendrith sank a crucial birdie putt from nearly three feet, solidifying his victory with a final score of 23-under after carding a 4-under 67 in the last round.
