Carly Pearce Commemorates Grand Ole Opry Induction with New Tattoo

Carly Pearce celebrated a special milestone this past Saturday by unveiling a new tattoo that holds significant meaning for her. The country music star took to Instagram to share a close-up shot of her ink, which is designed like a postage stamp featuring a guitar, the words ‘Grand Ole Opry,’ ‘WSM,’ and the year she was inducted.

Pearce has always expressed her deep love for the Grand Ole Opry, a venue she dreamed of being part of since she was just five years old. On the night she received her invite to join the Opry, Carly promised to keep this legendary stage close to her heart. Now, with this tattoo, she seems to be making that promise even more permanent.

In her Instagram caption, she reflected on how August 3, 2021, was a day she worked hard for, and it was a dream come true. She wrote, ‘Being a member of the Grand Ole Opry means I will have a home in country music for the rest of my life, so it only made sense to celebrate that gift with a tattoo that I’ll have for life.’

Carly also shared that her new tattoo represents a reminder that hard work and belief can take her anywhere she wants to go. She has always focused on traditional, songwriter-driven country music, which is clear in her latest album, Hummingbird, that she released in early June.

This album marks her fourth studio project and includes singles like the duet ‘We Don’t Fight Anymore’ and her recent radio release, ‘Truck on Fire.’
