Colin Browne has officially taken up the position of CEO at Cascale, effective from 1 May. With a rich background in global supply chains, brand management, and factory operations, Browne’s appointment marks a turning point for Cascale as it endeavors to instill sustainable practices in the consumer goods sector.

In a statement, Browne expressed his excitement, mentioning his relentless commitment to driving impact in the consumer goods supply chain at every level, from strategic decision-making to on-the-ground operations.

Browne highlighted his intention to leverage his expertise to bolster Cascale’s data-driven initiatives, utilize the Higg Index tools, and promote core values of collaboration and equality for maximum positive impact.

Under Browne’s leadership, formerly known as the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, Cascale aims to establish robust accountability measures and deepen its commitments to sustainability.

Prior to his role at Cascale, Browne served as both interim CEO and COO at a member brand within the organization. With Cascale’s recent expansion into new product categories, Browne is well-suited to spearhead supplier-focused programs, a cause he has championed throughout his career.

Cascale believes that Browne’s experience in building strategic partnerships and mobilizing global networks will be instrumental in driving transformation within the apparel and consumer goods industry, fostering a culture of sustainable and equitable business practices.
