Catfish & the Bottlemen and Eric Prydz to Headline Cardiff Castle Shows this Summer
Catfish & the Bottlemen and Eric Prydz have been announced as the headliners for outdoor concerts at Cardiff Castle this summer, adding to the already star-studded lineup of musical acts set to grace the historic venue.
Welsh rockers Catfish & the Bottlemen, led by frontman Van McCann, will take to the stage on Friday, July 19, marking their return to the live music scene after a hiatus and coinciding with the release of their first new music in five years. The Cardiff show follows their recent announcement of headline performances at Reading and Leeds Festivals.
Eric Prydz, the Grammy-nominated DJ known for his pioneering contributions to electronic music, will perform at Cardiff Castle on Saturday, June 29. The event, organized by DEPOT‘s dance music division, Shangri-La, will feature a lineup of top-tier electronic artists including Enrico Sangiuliano, Anna, Layla Benitez, Cristoph, and James Organ.
Fans can secure their tickets for both shows starting from 10am on Friday, March 1, with pre-sale access available for those signed up to respective mailing lists. The summer lineup at Cardiff Castle now boasts a diverse range of acts, including indie icons such as Manic Street Preachers and Suede, American rock legends The Smashing Pumpkins and Weezer, and a host of other big names like Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Avril Lavigne, Paul Heaton, JLS, Tom Grennan, and more.
