Catfish And The Bottlemen Return With New Single 'showtime' And Summer Show Announcements

Welsh rock band Catfish and The Bottlemen have made a dazzling comeback with the release of their first single in five years. The new track, ‘Showtime,’ was spearheaded by their lead vocalist Van McCann and produced by Dave Sardy, known for his work with Oasis, LCD Soundsystem, and the Rolling Stones.

The lyrics of ‘Showtime’ allude to the band’s hiatus since their last album ‘The Balance‘ in 2019, with McCann singing about returning to work and the passion for performing live.

Alongside the single release, Catfish & The Bottlemen have exciting news for fans with two significant outdoor shows planned for the summer. These come in addition to their headlining slots at Reading and Leeds festivals, where they will share the stage with the likes of Blink 182, Lana Del Rey, and Fred Again

The upcoming live performances by Catfish & The Bottlemen at Cardiff Castle on July 19th and Edinburgh Summer Sessions on August 24th are sure to be massive events, promising an electrifying experience for attendees.

Fans can secure their tickets through a pre-sale on the band’s mailing list and general sales, allowing everyone the chance to witness the band’s triumphant return to the live music scene.
