LOS ANGELES, Calif. — CBS‘ popular FBI franchise, including ‘FBI,’ ‘FBI: International,’ and ‘FBI: Most Wanted,’ will return to television screens on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, after a winter hiatus. The shows will air back-to-back in a three-hour block starting at 8 p.m. ET.

The hiatus, which began on December 17, 2024, is a standard practice for many television series during the holiday season. Fans of the franchise have eagerly awaited the return of new episodes, particularly after dramatic midseason finales left several storylines unresolved.

The flagship series, ‘FBI,’ will kick off the night at 8 p.m. ET. The last episode saw the team grappling with the betrayal of Clay Voss, who was revealed to be behind a deadly cargo heist. OA Zidan, played by Zeeko Zaki, was forced to confront and kill Voss, leaving the team in disarray as they head into the second half of the season.

‘FBI: International’ will follow at 9 p.m. ET, with Season 4, Episode 9 continuing the Fly Team’s search for leadership. The midseason finale introduced new drama for Wes Mitchell, who traveled to Budapest to avenge his partner’s murder. The episode ended with a cliffhanger involving Greg Csonka’s escape from trial, leaving fans anxious for resolution.

Rounding out the night at 10 p.m. ET is ‘FBI: Most Wanted,’ which will air Season 6, Episode 8. The Fugitive Task Force faced off against Virginia law enforcement while investigating a suspected serial killer tied to a home invasion. The episode also delved into Remy‘s personal life, as his long-distance girlfriend declined his offer to move in together, setting the stage for further emotional stakes.

All three shows are part of CBS’ robust lineup of dramas, each in at least its fourth season. The franchise has built extensive backstories for its core characters, contributing to its loyal fanbase. Paramount, the parent company of CBS, confirmed the return dates in an official press release.

Fans can expect the shows to continue airing on Tuesday nights after the January 28 premiere. The franchise’s blend of high-stakes drama, character development, and procedural storytelling has solidified its place as a cornerstone of CBS’ programming.
