CBS Shakes Up Primetime Lineup with New ‘Hollywood Squares’ Schedule
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — CBS announced a major shakeup to its primetime lineup Wednesday, moving the rebooted game show “Hollywood Squares” to a new timeslot beginning Jan. 29. The show will now air at 8 p.m., followed by “The Price Is Right At Night” at 9 p.m. and “Raid the Cage” at 10 p.m.
The network also revealed a one-time-only special episode of “Super Bowl Greatest Commercials” will air Feb. 5, temporarily interrupting the Wednesday game night schedule. Regular programming will resume the following week.
“Hollywood Squares,” hosted by NFL analyst and “CBS Mornings” co-host Drew Carey, features a rotating lineup of celebrity guests. New additions to the show include Jay Leno, Whitney Cummings, Pete Holmes, Chaka Khan, Thomas Lennon, Nelly, Patton Oswalt, Nicole Byer, Jeff Dunham, Max Greenfield, Lil Rel Howery, Rita Moreno and JB Smoove.
The show’s premiere, originally scheduled for Jan. 9, was delayed due to the devastation caused by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. In addition to airing on CBS, “Hollywood Squares” is available for streaming on Paramount+.
For Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, episodes are available live and on demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers can access episodes on demand the day after they air.
