Celebrate Burns Night At The Wharf

The Wharf in Teddington is hosting a special event to celebrate Burns Night this weekend. The two-day event will feature a Burns Night menu, offering canapes with a glass of champagne on arrival. The main dishes include Haggis, neeps and tatties with creamy mash potato and beef and ale pie served with swede dauphinois and green beans. The cost for the meal is £45 for two courses or £49 for three courses. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to experience the Scottish tradition at The Wharf!

If you’re looking for something more hands-on, why not join the Machine Sewing for Beginners workshop? Led by Cornelia Costeanu, this three-hour workshop will provide a step-by-step introduction to machine sewing. Participants will learn various skills, such as winding a bobbin, threading the machine, sewing in straight lines, cutting fabric, and sewing together a simple envelope cushion. It’s a great opportunity to unleash your creativity and learn a new skill!

In the music scene, The Cabbage Patch will host The String Circus with Ivor Game, Barbara Marion, and The Semi Detached. These talented artists will entertain the audience with their unique performances. Ivor Game will showcase his pop vignettes, while Barbara Marion will captivate with her folky Americana songs. The Semi Detached will add their fixtures and fittings to make it a memorable night of music. Join in the fun and experience the eclectic world of music at The Cabbage Patch!
