Montecito, California — Amber Kelleher-Andrews, a renowned celebrity matchmaker, passed away at the age of 56 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Her family confirmed the news on April 13, stating that she fought bravely against the illness.

Kelleher-Andrews was a prominent figure in the matchmaking industry, noted for her compassionate approach to connecting people. Her company, Kelleher International, which she co-founded with her mother, Jill Kelleher, became one of the largest matchmaking firms in the United States. Her family released a heartfelt statement expressing their sorrow, highlighting her dedication as a mother, wife, and business leader.

“We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Amber Kelleher-Andrews — beloved Co-Founder, Co-CEO, matchmaking visionary, and devoted wife and mother,” the tribute read. “Her passion and vision helped shape Kelleher International into a globally recognized leader.”

Throughout her career, Kelleher-Andrews worked with various Hollywood stars, including actress Eva Longoria on the reality series “Ready for Love” in 2013. She also appeared as a relationship expert on major television programs such as “Good Morning America,” “Today,” and “20/20.”

Kelleher-Andrews was known for her insightful dating advice, sharing her thoughts on relationship trends during interviews. In a conversation with Fox News Digital in 2023, she discussed the preference of many men for shorter female partners and noted the unique mindset of confident males who were open to dating regardless of height.

Diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer in 2017, Kelleher-Andrews briefly went into remission but faced a tougher condition when the illness returned. Her cousin Morgan Kelleher shared the emotional impact of her loss on the family, stating, “She left behind three beautiful children and a loving husband. She was larger than life.”

Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin, paid tribute to Kelleher-Andrews, stating, “Amber was a treasure – radiating joy, love, and purpose wherever she went.” Her legacy continues through her contributions to matchmaking, philanthropy, and the lives she touched.

A celebration of her life is planned for Santa Barbara, with her final resting place set in Hanalei, Hawaii.
