LOS ANGELES, Feb. 20, 2025 — Rapper 50 Cent has intensified his feud with Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, claiming that Meech’s influence has negatively impacted his son, Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. In a recent Instagram post, 50 Cent expressed concern over Lil Meech’s alleged substance abuse issues and highlighted an escalating tension between the two families.

In his post, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, suggested that Big Meech was envious of the relationship he shares with Lil Meech, who has starred in 50 Cent’s popular series, BMF, which dramatizes the exploits of Big Meech’s former drug empire. “I think [Big Meech] was uncomfortable with me and MeMe’s relationship,” he stated, using a nickname for Lil Meech. “I’m telling MeMe don’t want him doing drugs. He telling him he use to do X like it’s cool.”

The Queens, New York, rapper went further, alleging that he once had to send Lil Meech to rehab due to his excessive drug use. “People don’t know I had to send MeMe to rehab,” he claimed, recollecting an incident on set where Lil Meech reportedly became ill. “Russell Hornsby peeped he was high as f**k on set. He started throwing up at a weapons test then Ian told me the little (ninja) had whippets in his truck,” he said, referring to the nitrous oxide commonly used in whipped cream dispensers.

50 also shared his confusion over what whippets were, saying, “I said what the f**k is whippets? I look, it’s the sh*t that be in Bebe guns.” His comments attracted attention due to the drug’s association with party culture, especially among some entertainers.

The tension between 50 Cent and Big Meech escalated recently after photos surfaced of Big Meech with 50’s longtime rival, rapper Rick Ross, during a concert event celebrating Big Meech’s release from prison. Following this, multiple artists reportedly withdrew from the concert, with 50 Cent accusing Meech of being a “rat” and threatening to expose private dealings related to the BMF series.

As the public scrutiny increases, Lil Meech appears to be caught in the middle, trying to navigate his own relationships amid the show’s success and his father’s controversial past. In a heartfelt moment, he defended his bond with 50 Cent, stating, “Now u mad at me when I would take the shirt off my back for you. I can’t believe this man. U act as if I’m your enemy. I’ve only showed u love and loyalty.”

Big Meech has responded by asserting his loyalty and indicating that he remains steadfast in the face of their ongoing feud. “I wasn’t gonna address this… But I never folded, never told, never will. Death before dishonor, always, with me,” he stated in a video posted on social media.

The public spat between the two rappers exemplifies the complications that arise within the often turbulent world of hip-hop, particularly as it intersects with personal relationships. Fans continue to weigh in on social media, with some expressing concern for Lil Meech’s wellbeing amid these family dynamics.
