Chahat Fateh Ali Khan's 'bado Badi' Pulled From Youtube Over Copyright Issue

Pakistani singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s rendition of the hit song ‘Bado Badi’ has been removed from YouTube recently due to copyright infringement issues.

The song, which quickly gained over 28 million views on the platform, faced a swift takedown as it bore similarities to the iconic track ‘Akh Ladi Bado Badi’ originally performed by legendary singer Noor Jehan for the movie ‘Banarasi Thag’.

Originally featuring model Wajdan Rao Ranghar, the song by Chahat Fateh Ali Khan became a viral sensation soon after its release, inciting a wave of memes and online content creation.

Despite its initial unconventional style, ‘Bado Badi’ garnered massive popularity, especially in India, where it captured the attention of millions of music enthusiasts.

Reports suggest that the copyright claim leading to the removal of Khan’s rendition may have originated from Noor Jehan’s team, safeguarding the rights to the original composition.

Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s YouTube channel no longer showcases the video for ‘Bado Badi’, leaving fans and followers disappointed.
