Charissa Thompson Dances with Meghan Trainor at Surprise Music Video Shoot

Beverly Hills, CA — Charissa Thompson shared an unexpected career highlight during a recent episode of the Calm Down podcast. While having breakfast at Nate’n Al’s, a celebrated diner in Beverly Hills, she found herself in the middle of a surprise music video for Meghan Trainor.

Thompson recounted how her friend invited her out for breakfast. “I’m sitting there with my bagel and lox, excited for a bite when suddenly, I hear 5, 6, 7, 8…Meghan Trainor walks in with a full dance crew and music,” she said. Trainor explained to the diner that they were filming a music video and asked if they wanted to join in or not be included.

As a longtime fan of Trainor, Thompson jumped at the chance. “There is nothing that I don’t want to be a part of,” she exclaimed. “I threw sunglasses at Elsa [her friend] and I was like, let’s go. Why not be in the Meghan Trainor video?” The two ended up dancing in the diner at 11 a.m. while Trainor performed her new song.

Though the exact title of the song was unclear, Thompson noted part of the chorus contains the line, “And I don’t care.” The segment of their podcast also discussed Thompson’s upcoming collaboration with NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce.

The Kelce brothers, known for their podcast New Heights, will feature Thompson and Erin Andrews as special guests on their upcoming episode airing November 24. Jason Kelce affirmed, “That’s right, maybe two of the most demanded guests of all time.”

Travis added, “Erin and Charissa are so much fun, man. You guys are gonna love this.” As Thompson continues to balance unexpected musical appearances and high-profile podcast collaborations, her career is positioned for even more exciting developments.
