Chicago P.d. Cast With Toya Turner

The cast of NBC‘s popular drama series Chicago P.D. is gearing up for an intense fall finale, and new cast member Toya Turner has shared her positive experience joining the long-standing team. Turner, who plays Officer Kiana Cook, has been warmly welcomed by the cast, many of whom have been part of the show since its inception in 2014.

Key cast members include Jason Beghe as Captain Hank Voight, Marina Squerciati as Kim Burgess, LaRoyce Hawkins as Kevin Atwater, Patrick John Flueger as Adam Ruzek, and Amy Morton as Trudy Platt. These actors have been with the show since its first season and have created a tight-knit family environment that has made it easy for newcomers like Turner to integrate.

Toya Turner, who is originally from Chicago, expressed her gratitude for the support she has received from the cast. She mentioned that LaRoyce Hawkins even helped her pick out a couch, highlighting the close bonds formed within the team. Turner’s character, Kiana Cook, has quickly become a part of the Intelligence Unit, and her on-screen relationships with characters like Torres and Ruzek have been well-received.

The fall finale, titled “Penance,” aired on November 20, 2024, and promises to be a dramatic episode with significant revelations about Torres’ secret history. The episode is part of the ongoing Season 12, which has seen several twists and turns, including the integration of new characters and the departure of old ones, such as Jesse Lee Soffer as Halstead and Tracy Spiridakos as Upton.

New episodes of Chicago P.D. will return on January 8, 2025, following the winter hiatus. Fans can stream previous episodes on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service.
