NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Chipotle Mexican Grill is set to launch its latest offering, Chipotle Honey Chicken, starting March 7. Chipotle Rewards members will receive exclusive early access to the new dish beginning March 6 through the mobile app. The anticipation comes after the chicken’s successful market test last year in Nashville and Sacramento, where it became the brand’s best-selling limited-time offering.
“Our intention was to explore the growing demand for ‘swicy’ flavors, which have been trending in the culinary world,” said a Chipotle spokesperson. “The feedback from our test markets exceeded our expectations, paving the way for a nationwide release.”
The new dish is expected to attract both loyal customers and new patrons, building on the popularity of previous limited-time items such as the adobo- and pineapple-marinated chicken. Its unique blend of sweet and spicy flavor is anticipated to resonate with fans of savory and trendy food pairings.
