Cisf Constable Arrested For Allegedly Slapping Kangana Ranaut At Chandigarh Airport

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable involved in the altercation with Bollywood actress and newly-elected Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut at the Chandigarh airport has been taken into custody following the incident.

The alleged altercation took place as Ranaut was en route to Delhi to attend a meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), prior to which the incident unfolded.

According to sources, the constable stated that her mother was actively participating in the farmers’ protest against the now-repealed farm laws, which seemingly fueled her reaction towards Ranaut.

The constable’s actions resulted in the suspension of her duties as investigations into the matter continue.

Expressing his dismay over the incident, BJP leader Jairam Thakur labeled the incident as regrettable, emphasizing the need for a thorough investigation. Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh also termed the incident as unfortunate.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini underlined the necessity of taking appropriate action against the accused constable following the incident at the airport.
