INDIO, California — The highly anticipated Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival returns this weekend, bringing a lineup that includes Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone, along with a special appearance by Travis Scott. Festival-goers can expect an immersive experience, not just at the main stage, but also at various off-site events and parties throughout the valley.

This year’s festival runs from April 12-14 and April 19-21, and while securing a ticket to see headliners is a priority for many, attending surrounding events can enhance the overall experience. Each year, the active social scene surrounding Coachella attracts music enthusiasts and celebrities alike, featuring ample opportunities for celebrity interactions and exciting parties.

Refinery29’s popular Lunar Lounge, an invite-only immersive art space running from April 12-13, promises to combine elements of beauty, art, and wellness. This unique retreat offers guests an opportunity to unwind and recharge before heading to the festival. Although tickets are limited, the event is touted to be one of the highlights of the weekend.

For electronic music fans, a three-night afterparty hosted by the Insomniac Events team will showcase performances from artists like deadmau5 and Alesso from April 11-13. Dubbed the Yuma Tent afterparty, attendees can expect an energetic atmosphere and dynamic performances, as well as tickets available for online purchase.

The popular fashion brand Revolve hosts its annual event on April 12, showcasing past performers like Post Malone and SZA while attendees enjoy great food and numerous pop-up shops. While the lineup for this year remains unannounced, attendees can expect a star-studded gathering, where celebrity appearances are frequent, and prizes available through raffle entries.

Additionally, the Gallery Desert House, another off-site event hosted by Gallery Media Company from April 11-13 and April 25-27, will feature vibrant brand activations, food, cocktails, and live entertainment. Located at one of Indio‘s luxurious estates, this chic rendezvous delivers an experience blending culture, fashion, and entertainment.

If attendees seek a more budget-friendly option, the Palm Springs Surf Club will host poolside performances for those interested in melody lounging on April 12-13 and April 19-20. The lineup includes acts like Polo & Pan and Rico Nasty, promising a day filled with local bites and refreshing beverages.

Kendall Jenner’s 818 Outpost returns for its fourth year on April 11, featuring performances by rockstar Anderson .Paak and spirits from her tequila brand, among various brand collaborations. Though ticket contests have closed, fans can still enjoy the 818 experience, including merchandise offerings from the event.

For festival-goers seeking more relaxation, the Ace Hotel will host a variety of music sets over both weekends, allowing guests to socialize by the poolside between festival sets. The hotel also offers day passes for non-guests, providing access to its vibrant party atmosphere.

In summary, while the main draw of Coachella is undoubtedly its impressive lineup, the surrounding events create an unforgettable weekend filled with music, art, wellness, and celebrity interactions. Each event brings its own unique vibe, allowing festival-goers to curate an experience that goes beyond what the festival provides.
