Cobie Smulders on a Potential How I Met Your Mother Reunion and Her Latest Projects
Cobie Smulders, known for her iconic role as Robin Scherbatsky in the popular sitcom How I Met Your Mother, has recently addressed the speculation surrounding a potential reunion of the show. In an interview with Collider, Smulders expressed her enthusiasm for the idea, stating, “Always, anytime,” though she clarified that she couldn’t speak for the production team’s official stance on the matter.
Smulders has already revisited the How I Met Your Mother universe with a guest appearance in the Hulu spinoff How I Met Your Father, starring Hilary Duff. She mentioned, “I was lucky to do one episode of How I Met Your Father. So I feel like… we did it.” Despite this, the possibility of a full reunion involving the original cast, including Josh Radnor, Alyson Hannigan, Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Segel, and Cristin Milioti, remains uncertain.
Smulders has fond memories of her time on How I Met Your Mother and often shares anecdotes from the show. She has stayed connected with her co-stars on social media, celebrating the show’s legacy and engaging with fans. With the 20th anniversary of How I Met Your Mother approaching, the idea of a reunion seems more plausible than ever.
In addition to her reflections on How I Met Your Mother, Smulders is currently promoting her new project, Accused, a Fox anthology series where she plays a murder suspect. This role is part of her diverse career, which includes other notable appearances such as in the Marvel series Secret Invasion.
