NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Cody Johnson and Carrie Underwood‘s collaboration, “I’m Gonna Love You,” climbed three spots to No. 9 on Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart for the week of Feb. 8. The song gained an 11% increase in audience impressions, reaching 17.3 million for the tracking week of Jan. 24-30, according to Luminate.

The track, co-written by Kelly Archer, Travis Denning, and Chris Stevens, is featured on the deluxe version of Johnson’s 2023 album, “Leather.” The album peaked at No. 5 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, marking Johnson’s fifth top-five title.

Johnson, a native of Sebastopol, Texas, now boasts his fifth Country Airplay top 10 hit. His previous successes include “Dirt Cheap” (No. 5, September 2023), “The Painter” (No. 1, March 2024), “Human” (No. 8, June 2023), and “‘Til You Can’t” (No. 1, March-April 2022).

For Underwood, this marks her 31st Country Airplay top 10 and her first since “Ghost Story” peaked at No. 6 in October 2022. Between these hits, she scored two top 20 entries: “Out of That Truck” (No. 18, April 2024) and “Hate My Heart” (No. 20, May 2023). Her most recent No. 1 was “If I Didn’t Love You,” a collaboration with Jason Aldean, which topped the chart for three weeks in October-November 2021.

Underwood now holds the second-most Country Airplay top 10s among women since the chart’s inception in 1990, trailing only Reba McEntire, who leads with 37.

In other chart news, Dylan Scott secured his seventh Country Airplay top 10 with “This Town’s Been Too Good to Us,” which rose to No. 10 (17 million impressions, up 9%). Scott also achieved concurrent top 10s for the first time, as “Boys Back Home,” featuring Dylan Marlowe, held at No. 6 after peaking at No. 2. His recent streak includes “Can’t Have Mine” (No. 1, December 2023), “New Truck” (No. 1, August 2022), and “Nobody” (No. 2, June 2021).

Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen‘s “Love Somebody” dominated the Country Airplay chart for a second consecutive week, earning 35.4 million impressions, a 5% increase. This marks Wallen’s eighth multi-week No. 1 out of his 16 career chart-toppers.
