Cohen and Cooper Celebrate Spring Break with Epic Disney Trip

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, longtime friends and TV personalities, took their families to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios for a memorable spring break trip. On April 19, Cohen shared an Instagram post featuring the two dads enjoying the TRON Lightcycle/Run ride at Magic Kingdom, describing the adventure as the “ultimate family vacation. What a joy!”
Cooper, 57, is a father to two sons, Wyatt, 4, and Sebastian, 3, with ex-partner Benjamin Maisani. Cohen, 56, shares a daughter, Lucy, nearly 3, and a son, Benjamin, 6. The trip marked a significant bonding experience for both families, who have maintained a close friendship over the past two decades.
The two dads enjoyed various attractions during their time at the parks, including a heartwarming moment captured by Cohen of Lucy embracing Daisy Duck. In the post, he humorously remarked, “They squashed the beef!!!!! And if Lucy & Daisy Duck can figure things out, I think we can spread this vibe to the Bravoverse.” The playful reference alluded to a previous moment where Lucy had expressed her reservations about Daisy.
Cohen continued to share his admiration for their family time together, encouraging their kids to grow up together. “I am so glad that Ben will grow up with Wyatt and that Ben will grow up seeing Anderson and Benjamin raising Wyatt and Sebastian,” he stated during an earlier podcast.
Fans of the two celebrities reacted joyfully to the photos and videos posted by Cohen, with many commenting on social media platforms. Bravo stars, including Danielle Olivera and Margaret Josephs, expressed their delight in the comments section, adding to the light-hearted nature of Cohen’s post.
The pair’s friendship began in the 1990s when mutual friends attempted to set them up on a blind date. Although that connection did not flourish romantically, they forged a deep bond through shared experiences, such as vacationing together and co-hosting major events.
Both fathers acknowledge the differences in their parenting styles. On Live with Kelly and Mark, Cohen humorously noted, “Cooper’s kids always seem to be so well-behaved compared to my own,” prompting laughter from the audience. This playful banter highlights the close-knit nature of their friendship while navigating shared life experiences as single dads.
This trip further emphasizes the connection between the two families, proving that summer vacations at theme parks can create lasting memories, especially for young children. While Cohen and Cooper may face the challenges of raising their children, their friendship continues to thrive amid the joys and challenges of family life.
