J. Cole Inevitable Audio Series

J. Cole has announced and released a new audio series titled ‘Inevitable,’ which offers a detailed and personal look into his life and rap career. The series, co-hosted by Dreamville’s Ibrahim Hamad, features conversations and reflections on key moments from Cole’s journey as a rapper.

The idea for ‘Inevitable’ came about after Ibrahim Hamad discovered an old laptop in his garage containing a wealth of footage and audio from Cole’s early days. Along with filmmaker Scott Lazer, they decided to compile this material into an audio format, providing listeners with an intimate and unfiltered view of Cole’s career.

Cole described the series in an Instagram post, stating that it feels like “a movie in the form of a conversation.” He shared that the process of recapping his journey was both therapeutic and emotional, and he hopes it will inspire and provide perspective to his fans and anyone chasing their own dreams.

The first episode of ‘Inevitable’ was released on November 18, with more episodes set to follow. This new project has also sparked anticipation among fans for Cole’s upcoming album, ‘The Fall Off,’ which he has been working on since 2016. Recently, Cole released the surprise project ‘Might Delete Later,’ which has been nominated for a 2025 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.

In ‘Inevitable,’ Cole, Hamad, and Lazer delve into the highs and lows of Cole’s career, using both released and unreleased music to guide the narrative. The series aims to provide a raw and reflective look at Cole’s personal evolution and his path to success.
